PeTA criticises Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone has been criticised by animal rights campaign group PeTA for wearing a brooch made from a rat's foot.
The actress wore the piece of jewellery after hearing it brought Scotsmen good luck on their wedding day and chose to wear it to Elton John's Oscar party on Sunday.
However, the move has antagonised the ethical campaign group and they have reacted in their usual, rather cutting way, by saying: 'Maybe Sharon, passed over by the Academy yet again, was jealous of Ratatouille's Oscar win and thought a rodent paw might go with her haggard look.
'Her accessories these days are as dead as her career.'

Why does Sharon and co. do it? Can they not afford man made fibres?! No obviously that isn't the case. I think it is disgusting that we are still allowing people to wear fur. There really is no need to sacrafice an animal to create clothing. Why would people find a rat foot brooch attractive anyway?
