Beckhams to adopt African child?

Marie Claire Celebrity News: David and Victoria Beckham's welcome to America party

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly set to adopt an African girl to complete their family of three sons.

The news comes after David made a recent trip to Sierra Leone as a Goodwill Ambassador with children's charity Unicef. The footballer was deeply moved during his four-day trip saying: 'I had to step back and take a deep breath. But what stopped me crying was knowing that what these kids are going through is far worse than my feelings.'

One source revealed: 'Adoption is something David has been talking about for some time. Tom Cruise has talked to David about how adoption changed him and how he's been able to change the lives of two amazing children.'

The Beckhams have made no secret of the fact they would like to expand their brood and especially hoped they would be able to have a baby girl.

Another source confirmed: 'It's clear they both think adoption is great.'

Call it my bad mind but I think Victoria hasn't got time to go through 9 months of labour especially if the baby turned out to be another boy. This is an easy way to get a designer baby girl - and to improve the public's opinion of her.

God what a pair of copycats !!!
Just because it's the latest fashion among celebs to adopt i might have known they'd jump on the bandwagon. So original it's like a fashion accessory to adopt n they don't look after their own anyway, it's left to their nanny. They think we will admire them for it but i think it is rather pathetic and it doesn't wash with me for a moment. Go away beckhams we are not interested in either of you.
