Stars mourn Heath Ledger

It was a who's who of the entertainment world as celebrity friends turned out to remember Heath Ledger at a memorial service in Los Angeles.



Friends including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Ellen DeGeneres, Sienna Miller, Josh Hartnett, Lindsay Lohan and director Todd Haynes – who directed Ledger in Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There - all gathered at the ceremony held at Sony Studios.



Ledger's father, Kim, also attended the service, which followed a week after a smaller service at an L.A. cemetery where Ledger's ex, Naomi Watts, was present.



The actor, who died of a suspected drugs overdose in his New York apartment last month, is expected to be laid to rest later this week in his home town of Perth, Australia.



Ledger's ex-fiancée, actress Michelle Williams, spoke out of her and her daughter, Matilda's, loss saying: 'All I can cling to is his presence inside Matilda that reveals itself every day.'
