Stars mourn Heath Ledger
It was a who's who of the entertainment world as celebrity friends turned out to remember Heath Ledger at a memorial service in Los Angeles.
Friends including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Ellen DeGeneres, Sienna Miller, Josh Hartnett, Lindsay Lohan and director Todd Haynes who directed Ledger in Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There - all gathered at the ceremony held at Sony Studios.
Ledger's father, Kim, also attended the service, which followed a week after a smaller service at an L.A. cemetery where Ledger's ex, Naomi Watts, was present.
The actor, who died of a suspected drugs overdose in his New York apartment last month, is expected to be laid to rest later this week in his home town of Perth, Australia.
Ledger's ex-fiancée, actress Michelle Williams, spoke out of her and her daughter, Matilda's, loss saying: 'All I can cling to is his presence inside Matilda that reveals itself every day.'
