Lily Allen splits from boyfriend

Lily Allen has split up with her Chemical Brothers boyfriend, Ed Simons.

The break-up was reportedly instigated by Simons and comes just weeks after Lily suffered a miscarriage.

According to sources close to the pair the relationship came under pressure as they fought to get over their grief. After numerous attempts to mend the relationship, Simons made the decision to call time on it.

One friend told The Sun: 'They tried to make things work but couldn't. The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them – and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained.'

The source added: 'Lily is upset things haven't worked out, but there is a big age difference and the heartbreak they had to cope with was too much too early in their relationship.'

feb should be full of hope and sunshine and happiness...the spring is coming...she has to go through all of these sadness....i hope she can really really work things out by herself...age difference...does that really make such a difference?? bless her~~hope she can cope with it well...be strong lily~~

Does anyone really care that much. She isn't a really big singing star is she.
If they loved each other they wouldn't have split so thank god another baby that wasn't planned ended up in the world. Loads of couples go through this but don't split up so it's def for the best. Don't like Milly Allen much but do feel for anyone going through that.
