New Tyra Banks fashion show

America's Next Top Model mastermind Tyra Banks is set to bring a new kind of fashion show to the airwaves with a Devil Wears Prada-style reality show.

Tentatively entitled Fashionista, the programme would see wannabe fashion writers compete for the chance to work on a glossy American magazine.

Set to air on American network CW later this spring, the show is being described as 'The Apprentice meets The Devil Wears Prada'. Tyra will host the show, with judges potentially from Elle magazine acting as her co-hosts.

'It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine,' producer Ken Mok – who also works on America's Next Top Model – told The Hollywood Reporter yesterday.
