New Kids on the Block set to reform

New Kids on the Block

They were one of the biggest bands in the early Nineties, and now New Kids on the Block are following in the steps of Take That and are gearing up to rock our worlds again.

The band's website, www.nkotb.com, which had been inactive, is now up and running again in anticipation of an official announcement, which is said to follow in a few weeks.

Click on the site, and you'll find a fuzzy television graphic of the band in their heyday, and a link inviting fans to sign up for more info.

The hugely-popular boyband had girls fainting over them in the early Nineties, selling over 50 million albums before calling it quits in 1994.

But what have the 'Kids' - well, more like middle-aged men these days - been doing in the 18 years since? Oldest singer, Jonathan Knight, turns 40 this year and is now a property developer; Donnie Wahlberg, 38, and Joey McIntyre, 35, have dabbled in acting; Danny Wood, 38, has worked as a music producer, and Jonathan's brother Jordan Knight has continued to make music.

We can't wait to hear Hangin' Tough again - no, seriously.
