Britney's restraining order

Rumours abound that Britney Spears has requested a restraining order against her recent squeeze, Adnan Ghalib - but he insists he knows nothing about it.



The British paparazzi photographer - who's barely left Britney's side over the last couple of weeks - says he's not aware of an injunction.



'All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning,' he says in a message posted on the website of his employer, FinalPixx. 'The reason being, that I have had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.'



News of a restraining order was leaked by two photographers who had been invited to enjoy drinks with Britney and her friend, Sam Lufti, in the early hours of Sunday morning.



According to one of the photographers, Lutfi said they'd filed a request for a restraining order against Ghalib because they want him 'out of Britney's life'.



One of the photographers explained: 'Britney asked us to leave the cameras in the car, and she poured some champagne for us. She was very sweet. Sam was telling us to not worry about Adnan because they have filed a restraining order against him.'



The Los Angeles police department says they are not aware of any protective orders issued against Ghalib.

I AM NOT A FAN BUT I FEEL SORRY FOR HER NEED OF ATTENTION AND IF GHALIB WAS A TRUE FRIEND HE'D TRY TO BE THERE FOR HER WITHOUT CREATING ATTENTION TO HIMSELF AS WELL

I feel for Britney, she is going through a terrible time and her world is falling apart around her. Why do we love hearing all the gossip and bad stuff about celebs, we would be mortified if someone wrote about everything bad we ever did. I think everyone should back off, and let her get her life in order, she'll pull through.
