Kate Hudson's charity haircare range

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson is launching her own range of haircare products – to raise money for a wildlife conservation charity.

Big-hearted Kate is teaming up with hairstylist, David Babaii, to create Wildaid – a range of hair products and styling tools designed specifically for coloured hair – to boost funds for global wildlife conservation group, WildAid.

Kate, who has her own naturally blonde locks highlighted by John Frieda Salon’s head colourist Negin Zand – is thrilled to be part of the project.

‘I've been asked to do a lot of campaigns in the past and this feels like the perfect fit for me,' she explains. 'David is the best at what he does and he's put so much of himself into the development of this line. And the fact that we can do it in an ecologically responsible and animal-friendly manner that can help preserve wildlife is what makes this truly special.’

WildAid, whose products are all paraben and sulphate-free and, naturally, not tested on animals, aims to end the illegal wildlife trade and boost populations of endangered species by working with governments and communities all over the world.
