Scarlett Johansson to star in Kurt Cobain biopic?
Rex Features
Scarlettt Johansson and Ryan Gosling have been asked by Courtney Love to star in a biopic of the life of her late husband, Kurt Cobain.
The £30 million movie, entitled Heavier Than Heaven, is based on the biography of Kurt which was written with Courtney's help.
Courtney will be the executive producer on the new flick and has pinpointed the Lost in Translation star Scarlett as the perfect actress to do the role justice.
A close friend of Love said: 'Courtney really admires Scarlett and has already sent the contract out for her to sign. She wants the best actors to portray them.'
They added: 'Kirsten Dunst was rumoured to be in the frame, but Courtney really admires Scarlett. This is a labour of love for Courtney and she is putting her heart and soul into making it an accurate, credible glimpse of her life with Kurt.'

I am sure it will make a very interesting film but cant Kurt Cobain be left to rest in peace life was to much for him to cope with when he was here so please let him rest in peace surly he has that right Courtney may want to make lots of money but this is not the way to get it ,by selling the tragic story of her husband surely he is worth more as a memory for his family this is a film that will be around to hurt many people for years to come.
