J-Lo to have Scientology birth?

Jennifer Lopez could be following in the footsteps of Katie Holmes, by choosing to have a silent Scientology birth for her first child.

Although Lopez is not a Scientologist herself, she is a close friend of both Holmes and husband Tom Cruise, who practiced a Scientology birth for their daughter Suri, born in April 2006. By keeping silent during birth and for the following first week of life, Scientologists believe the baby is relieved of damaging stress.

Sources claim that J-Lo sees the benefits of the practice, 'Although she knows it will be hard not to scream, she understands why it will be good for the baby to have peace and quiet.'

J-Lo announced her first pregnancy in November, while on stage at a concert with husband Marc Anthony. It is rumoured that the couple are expecting twins after Lopez has been spotted in a host of LA baby boutiques buying two versions of everything, including a double pram.
