David and Victoria Beckham have sent gossip hounds into meltdown after allegedly spending three hours in a private room at the Las Vegas branch of Spearmint Rhino.

Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Norm Clarke reports: 'Spies say they spent three hours in a private room. When Beckham walked in, I'm told, the scene looked like a jail break.'

A spokesperson for Spearmint Rhino wasn't available to comment on the rumours when PopCrunch.com got in contact, but the couple certainly was in the city at the time: Posh to perform with the Spice Girls and David to watch the Ricky Hatton-Floyd Mayweather fight.

Clearly Posh knows more than one way to spice up her life.
