Britney Spears questioned by lawyers

Britney Spears will be questioned today by Kevin Federline's lawyers in the continuing custody battle for their two sons.

Last month the pair, fighting over custody of Preston, 2 and Jayden, 1, agreed to share time with their children at Christmas. However they were not able to come to a final custody arrangement. At present, Federline has primary physical custody, while Britney is allowed supervised visitation.

The ailing singer is expected to be grilled in court about her past drug and alcohol abuse and failing to follow court orders.

L.A family lawyer, Lynn Soodik commented on the case saying: 'A deposition can be emotionally draining, because Kevin's lawyer can ask very personal questions about her relationship with her kids – and she'll be under oath.'

Britney needs our prayers to get her through this emotional and frightening time. I think that anyone who chooses this lifestyle has to go through the drugging and party scene. It's sad. Yeah i agree, with the year she has had i was worried that i'd switch on the tv one day to hear that she'd killed herself, i really hope she gets better and like Emma said find the peace she deserves.

I really hope Britney gets the help she needs to find peace. I think it's so sad to see yet another young "celebrity" hit a downward spiral, and I hope she can recover to show that it is possible, no matter how low things have gone.
