KATIE HOLMES DEBUTED a new look last night, showing off a sleek and chic bob at an awards ceremony in Germany. Gone was the slightly shaggy shorter hair that she has been sporting recently, and in its place a neat chin-length 'do with a flattering fringe.

Katie accompanied husband Tom, who was being honoured at the awards for his role in the forthcoming Valkyrie. Her transformation was completed with a sexy fitted black dress, and sequin bolero. She appeared statuesque, towering over Cruise in high heels.

The couple were joined by Eva Longoria, Rihanna and Sophia Loren at the star-studded event.

WOW! How gorgeous does Katie look now! Thankfully the Dawson's Creek look has finally been put to sleep and out pops a sophisticated and stunning Ms Holmes!
