MARC JACOBS MUST have noticed that Victoria Beckham has been a regular face in the front row at his catwalk shows – he's repaying the favour by asking her to front his spring 08 campaign.

The cheeky designer then sprang the surprise that he wanted her to follow in the footsteps of Julianne Moore and Naomi Campbell and strip naked for his range of charity T-shirts, which last year raised £30,000 for charity - and gung-ho Posh has agreed.

On shooting for the spring 08 campaign, photographed by snapper-to-the-stars Juergen Teller, Marc said: 'She was a great sport. She agreed to do something rough and tough and quite raw. 'It wasn't days and days of hair and makeup.

Marc also revealed that the campaign depicts Victoria lounging amongst giant Marc Jacobs gift boxes – a sartorial dig at how celebrities today are packaged and marketed like products.

And Posh completely rose to the challenge: 'She was like, "I totally get it and I'm totally into it,"' Jacobs said. 'She has an amazing sense of humor about herself....She just gave herself over to it.'
