Sienna Miller in GI Joe

SIENNA MILLER HAS signed up to star as the female lead in a film version of GI Joe.
The actress will play a 'raven-haired baroness and sexy femme fatale skilled in espionage' according to Variety, and is the first actor to be confirmed for the blockbuster.
The film is based on the comic book strip, which later became a popular series of toys in the US.
Director Stephen Sommers, whose previous films include The Mummy, is confirmed to be directing the movie. It will start filming in February and is set for release in Augist 2009. (21 November 2007)
