MATT DAMON OBVIOUSLY sets more pulses racing than any other man in the world - he's just been voted Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.

The 37-year-old star came top of the totty list, an accolade that pals, George Clooney and Brad Pitt, have shamelessly campaigned for since 2001.

Matt's response? A self-deprecating joke - a quality which contributed to him being chosen in the first place. In a letter to People, he said: 'You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime.'

Grey's Anatomy star, Patrick Dempsey, was snapping at his heels in second place, while old favourites, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp, were still up there, in fourth and sixth place respectively.

Well i've always thought that Matt Damon was the sexiest man alive anyway so its no surprise at all him winning this. Good 4 u Matt. loves ya xxxxxx
