Stars go blindfold for homeless

Beth Ditto from The Gossip at Glastonbury 2007

SOME OF THE world's biggest music stars clubbed together this weekend to create a new track for homeless charity, Crisis.

Beth Ditto, Paul Weller, New Young Pony Club, Supergrass and members of Babyshambles and The Smiths grouped together to create a new track with a twist – each member recorded their section blindfolded, not knowing what came before or after, with only a skeleton beat to work with.

The main vocalist, Ditto, will be the only musician to hear it all.

A follow-up gig, Consequences Live, to be held at Camden's Roundhouse, takes place on 2 March.

Two hundred and fifty tickets, from £45, have been released early and are available at www.crisisconsequences.com.
