Amy Winehouse's husband arrested

AMY WINEHOUSE'S HUSBAND, Blake Fielder-Civil, was arrested yesterday, just hours after the couple's home was searched by police.

Following the police raid, which saw 13 officers use battering rams and crowbars to gain access to Amy's London home, Fielder-Civil was arrested for allegedly offering the victim in his assault case, James King, £800,000 to withdraw his police statement.

The case is part of an on-going investigation into an altercation, which happened earlier in the year, and saw a group of men - including Blake - allegedly cause GBH to a bartender at the Macbeth pub in Hoxton.

The case is due to go to trial next week.

As her husband was led away, Amy reportedly called out: 'Baby, I love you. I will be fine.'
