BRITNEY SPEARS WILL have to pay estranged husband Kevin Federline $120,000 to cover his legal fees.

The Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday ruled that Britney must settle the outstanding bill immediately after commissioner Scott Gordon pointed out the 'disparity between the parties income'. He also noted that the 'vast majority of the... litigation deals with [Spears's] conduct'.

It's unlikely to be the only cheque Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, receives over the next few months.

'We've already incurred more fees above the $164,000 in the document, and we expect we will be incurring significant other fees going into the trial,' he told People.com. 'I intend to make further fee orders up to the date of the trial.'

Looks like Britney's next album needs to be a big hit.
