Amy Winehouse faces US ban
AMY WINEHOUSE COULD be banned from performing in the United States after she was arrested on drugs charges in Norway last week.
Stringent US regulations can ban anyone who has faced legal charges or been questioned by police from entering the country.
The 24-year-old was arrested in Bergen's Radisson Hotel in Norway last week during a day off from touring. Police received a tip-off about someone trying to buy drugs. It is believed Amy's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil was also in custody.
If the ban is enforced, Amy won't be the first UK performer to be forbidden from performing for a US audience; Lily Allen had her US work visa confiscated after she was questioned in April this year over an attack on a photographer.
