Penelope Cruz dating Javier Bardem

PENELOPE CRUZ HAS a new love in her life and this time she's gone for a fellow countryman, actor Javier Bardem.



The couple met on the set of Woody Allen's upcoming movie, the as yet untitled Spanish project, due out next year.



Penelope made an appearance at the New York Film Festival this weekend with Bardem and the pair were reportedly trying to keep a low profile. However one onlooker told the New York Post: 'They were very touchy-feely. They held hands when they thought no one was watching, and she kissed his cheek, and he put his arm around her.'



They were joined by Penelope's pal Bono on Saturday evening for the premiere party of Bardem's new film No Country for Old Men.



The Spanish actor was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar in 2000 for Before Night Falls and has a host of forthcoming films including the adaptation of Love In the Time of Cholera and Killing Pablo opposite Christian Bale.
