A judge has ordered Britney Spears to complete three joint counselling session with her ex-husband Kevin Federline by the next court hearing on 26 October.

Documents released yesterday revealed the stricter measures the LA Superior Court have enforced on the troubled star.

The court commissioner, Scott Gordon, specified that 'a missed [drug] test, refusal to submit to a test, or failure to respond to the testing agency's call ... shall be deemed by the court as a failed test,' the documents read. The 25-year-old is still expected to complete twice-weekly random testing for drugs and alcohol.

According to a source who spoke to the LA Times, Britney reportedly slept through two random drug-test appointments.

The supervised visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, the court documents stated: 'the monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children.'

Court representative Allan Parachini has revealed: 'Britney's access to her kids works out to about every other day.'

Meanwhile Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, is expected to go on a US chat show today and spill the beans on her daughter's troubles.
