Kiefer Sutherland arrested for drink driving
IT SEEMS BEING an action hero can't get you out of every tight spot – Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in the early hours of this morning for driving at twice the legal alcohol limit.
The actor, who plays Jack Bauer in hit show 24, was spotted making an illegal U-turn by LA police, who promptly pulled him over and breathalised him.
Sutherland was arrested on a driving under the influence (DUI) misdemeanour charge, and whisked off to Hollywood Police Station.
The 40-year-old was later released on a £12,500 bail and is due to appear in court on 16 October.
