Jodie Kidd dropped by M&S following drugs claims

Marie Claire news: Cocaine claims could cost Jodie Kidd £500,000 in modelling contracts

Jodie Kidd will not have her contract with Marks and Spencer renewed, following claims that she dealt cocaine to undercover reporters.

Kidd has featured in print and television advertisements for the M&S Money credit card, but the company's marketing director, Steve Sharp, confirmed that they would not continue working with her, commenting, 'We do not have an ongoing contract with Jodie Kidd.'

Miss Kidd has been accused of drug dealing, after allegedly obtaining cocaine worth £150 for News of the World reporters posing as potential investors in a polo project.

After trading on her clean-living image, the accusations will also threaten contracts with companies such as Maserati and fashion brand Oli.
