Justin Timberlake on his love life on Oprah Winfrey show

Justin Timberlake has spoken out about his latest romance – without evening mentioning his girlfriend's name.



The prince of pop appeared on Wednesday's edition of the Oprah Winfrey show in the US and managed to avoid mentioning latest squeeze, actress Jessica Biel's name once.



However according to excerpts from the interview that feature on the show's website Timberlake is quoted as saying: 'All I can tell you is she smells lovely.'



The 26-year-old also revealed: 'I get pretty romantic around her,' admitting he sings to Biel and when he's away on tour they constantly stay in touch via an iChat webcam.



'Technology is a wonderful thing sometimes,' he says. 'When you can actually see someone's face it just makes you feel closer.'







The pair were first romantically linked at the beginning of this year at a Golden Globe afterparty and last week after the MTV Video Music Awards he avoided the afterparties to have dinner with his mother and Biel.



Oprah also quizzed Timberlake on his feelings over ex-girlfriend Britney Spears' latest escapades.



'What do you think is going on with Britney?' Winfrey asked.



'I don't know, to be honest with you, ' Timberlake answered. 'I haven't spoken to her in years. I mean, there's no ill will – I have nothing but love for her. We were teenagers, you know? I think she's a great person, she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.'
