Marie Claire news: Sex and the City: The Movie

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING! Yes, Sex and the City: The Movie really will make it onto the big screen - and we've got the picture to prove it.

Taken on set in New York this week, the snap shows Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie - looking as stylish as ever - with her arms flung around Chris Noth, aka Mr Big.

All the show's leading ladies are back for the movie, as are their various men, including Steve, played by David Eigenberg, Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis) and Charlotte's husband Harry (Evan Handler).

The new addition to the cast is Oscar-winning actress, and American Idol finalist, Jennifer Hudson, who is set to play Carrie's new assistant.
