Naomi Campbell blaims the murder of close friend Gianni Versace for her descent into drug and alcohol addiction.

'That traumatised me… the way he was killed,' Naomi says of the 1997 shooting. 'I partied when I wanted to, burning the candles at both ends. It put me spiritually and emotionally on my knees.'

The admission comes during an interview with Piers Morgan, which will be broadcast next week on BBC1.
