Brad Pitt to become Steve McQueen in rremake of film Bullit

Brad Pitt is adding television producer to his already bulging CV. Teaming up with Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy, Brad is set to produce 4 oz., a new show for cable television channel FX.

The show will follow the story of a married man working as a gynaecologist, who realizes he is a transsexual. The programme will follow his gender transformation, and life after the surgery.

This is not the first foray into producing for Brad, though he has previously only worked on films. He was producer on A Mighty Heart starring partner Angelina Jolie, and on a number of other movies including Martin Scorsese's The Departed.
