Instead of hitting up some of the most exclusive parties of the year, the actress took a sweeter approach to celebration

Oh, Blake Lively. You've been having a major fashion week, what with all the gorgeous dresses and cool shoes you've been wearing. And while we truly can't take fault with any of your flawless sartorial selections, we can't help feeling a bit surprised by your party habits.

In an interview with Extra, the 26-year-old actress revealed what she did following the star-studded Met Ball on Monday night. There was certainly no shortage of A-list bashes to attend after the fashion-filled red carpet. But instead of dancing at Rihanna's wild party or taking goofy lift rides with Reese Witherspoon and Cara Delevingne, Blake chose to kick back with a nice bowl of chocolate ice cream.

'I went to Serendipity… had frozen hot chocolate with extra peanut butter sauce on the side,' she said. 'Closed that place down! That’s how I do an after party!'

Blake didn't clarify as to whether or not husband Ryan Reynolds joined her for the sweet celebration -- though we're guessing he probably would have been sleeping on the sofa if he'd gone off to rub elbows with Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper on his own.

Now, we realise that Blake doesn't drink alcohol, and we're sure her ice cream party was very fulfilling. But if we were in her position, we certainly would have at least made an appearance at a few swanky soirees. After all, you're only young (and incredibly beautiful and famous) once...
