Rob – who has made no secret of his love of music – was playing at the intimate venue as part of the Songs From a Room project, which organises performances by up-and-coming artists, and uploads the filmed footage online.

The Twi-star, who sung one of his own songs at the intimate gig, has already recorded a number of tracks, one of which features on the Twilight soundtrack.

And in the past he’s made no secret of wanting to record an album.

But Twilight fans hoping to get their hands on Robert Pattinson’s first musical masterpiece are going to have to wait a while – the star recently revealed that fame has put end to most of his musical ambitions, for the moment at least.

‘I used to write a lot more music by just doing gigs, just turning up to open mics and stuff with two lines of the song and then the pressure would force me to make something up on the spot,’ he recently revealed.

‘And I can’t really do that anymore, which was my main process for writing songs.’

But it seems we an R-Patz album could still be in the pipeline in the future.

‘I’ve been talking to people (producers) about stuff for ages, where I play a musician. I’d really like to, but it’s quite difficult to do… I think I’m doing another movie after the movie I’m doing now but I think I’ll try and write some music, hopefully by the end of the year,’ he said.
