After spending hours examining every red carpet picture and drooling over every ultra-glam gown, we kind of feel like we were at the Met Ball 2014. But now Cynthia Rowley is making us feel even more a part of the A-list action.

The American fashion designer placed a hidden camera inside her handbag and filmed her surroundings as she made her way into the gala. New York Times reporter Guy Trebay snapped a shot of Cynthia's cam and quoted her as saying, 'I have my Go-Pro in my bag, taping everything.'

The result of Cynthia's amateur film project isn't going to win her any Oscars: It's a bit blurry and only shows views from waist level. But it does give a fun look into the most exclusive celebrity party of the year.

The video features lots of champagne swilling, cheek kissing and general schmoozing. It shows Karolina Kurkova chatting with Dree Hemingway, Donatella Versace catching up with Hugh Jackman's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness and last, but definitely not least, Lena Dunham hopping barefoot through the swanky soiree. (Why are we not surprised?)
