And it's SO relatable

The camera loves Victoria Beckham and when she’s out being papped, more often than not you’ll see her wearing a pair of sunnies. It turns out the accessory isn’t just a fashion statement though and there’s a practical reason why she wears sunglasses so much

Speaking to Hong Kong fashion editor Divia Harilela on Facebook Live, she revealed, ‘I think when you’re a busy mum and like me, you’re up most nights with your children. [Sunglasses] hide a multitude of sins.’

It's no surprise the mother of four has her hands full, especially while juggling her international womenswear brand and everything else that fame brings with it.

The reason that shades came up wasn't a coincidence, as Victoria Beckham was promoting her new eyewear line at her Asian flagship store. Posh Spice described the limited line as retro-inspired and there’s a heavy dose of her favourite shapes, including aviators and dramatic cat-eye lenses. There's also a selection of regular old reading glasses in vintage tortoiseshell prints and silhouettes, with prices starting at £250.

Victoria also revealed why she decided to make the leap from pop music to fashion, explaining, ‘I love women. I love to empower women...I’ve just always loved fashion even when I was in the Spice Girls. I was the one that loved fashion. It really was a dream come true - [it was] just something I’ve always wanted to do.’

Thanks, VB. In the meantime, we’ll be grabbing a pair of sunnies to hide the aftermath of our hump day hangovers...
