The new dad cannot stop gushing about his baby boy via Twitter. And who can blame him?

Simon Cowell is absolutely loving fatherhood. Seriously. He can't get enough of it.

We'd expect most new dads to get all mushy and googly eyed over their newborn children. But to be honest, we had no idea what to expect when Simon became a dad. After all, the 54-year-old music mogul isn't exactly known for being warm and cuddly.

But it seems the notoriously prickly X Factor judge has shed his hard exterior completely. So much so, that he's filling his Twitter feed with snaps of babies, puppies and stuffed toys. We never thought we'd see the day!

Two days after his girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to their son, the proud papa shared the first few photos of his new bundle of joy.

Then on Sunday, he posted a shot of their two dogs, Sqiddly and Diddly, and tweeted: 'The last three days have been incredible. Eric Lauren sqiddly and diddly all happy.'

And on Monday night, he shared the sweetest baby picture yet. 'Eric's new friends,' he captioned the shot of his son cuddling a stuffed elephant and a plush dog.

Will Simon's newfound soft side cross over to the X Factor judges' table? We'll have to wait and see! Got a tablet? You can now download Marie Claire magazine straight to your iPad, Kindle (just search the store for 'marie claire magazine'), Nook or Google Nexus.
