Actress will play a 'sexually provocative' landowner's daughter
Sienna Miller has bagged herself her first ever Broadway role as a ‘sexually provocative’ landowner’s daughter.
The 27-year-old actress, who to her dismay still appears to be better known for her personal life than her acting abilities, will star in After Miss Julie – playwright Patrick Marber’s adaptation of August Strindberg’s classic Miss Julie – this September.
It should come as very welcome news for Sienna, who was recently ditched from her role as Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood film, Nottingham, for apparently being too young and too thin.
The globe-trotting fashionista has been keen to tread the boards again ever since her successful stint in the West End production of As You Like It three years ago and if she wants to be taken more seriously, this could be just the right project, with the play revolving around just three characters.
