Emma Stone Is Handing Over Her Broadway Role To…

Life is a Cabaret for Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller is set to take over from Emma Stone in the Tony-award winning Broadway show Cabaret, playing club singer Sally Bowles at New York’s legendary Studio 54 venue.

Sienna, whose career is on a high at the moment with parts in blockbusters Foxcatcher and American Sniper, will tread the boards from 17th February until the show’s run ends on 29th March. It’s the Brit IT girl’s second run on the New York stage, appearing in After Miss Julie back in 2009.

She has a tough act to follow in Emma, whose highly publicised stint has seen profits skyrocket, bringing in over $1million in the first week of the new year alone.

Emma, in turn, succeeded Michelle Williams in November, while other stars to take on the iconic part include Judi Dench, Liza Minnelli and Jane Horrocks in 1968, 1972 and 1993 respectively.

Unsurprisingly, tickets are expected to sell out quickly; so if you’re visiting New York, move fast!
