No stranger to sharing details of her life with the world on her various TV shows, Khloe Kardashian has now made headlines with a rather more intimate confession – that she uses a sex calculator to supplement the calorie burning effects of her fitness regime.
Discussing the topic on her website in a post titled ‘Burn calories in the bedroom’, the reality star reveals how she takes her commitment to staying super fit everywhere with her. Even, you guessed it, in the bedroom.
So what is a sex calculator and how does it work? We’ll let Khloe lay the foundations on this one.
In the post she writes: “I’m all about having fun with fitness and it’s the best way to stay motivated to work out. I had my team put together a list of sex positions that burn the most calories, because what’s more fun than getting down??? LOL.
“I even found this ‘sex calculator’ that tells you exactly how many calories are burned between the sheets based on your gender, weight, position, style (‘slow,’ ‘frisky’ or ‘fast and furious,’ haha) and time frame.”
So in other words, it’s a bit like a fitness tracker which measures how many steps you’ve taken and calculates the calories burnt as a result – but for sex.
Khloe also goes on to discuss, in detail, the result of her team’s research; confirming that according to her data, the missionary position is the least effective for burning calories (for women, at least), and reverse cowgirl is the best.
Ready to be inducted into the Khloe Kardashian school of calorie-burning sex positions? Hold tight, here we go.
“I’m not a missionary girl, and I don’t belong in a missionary!!! LOL, maybe I’d be more into this position if it was more of a workout, but missionary burns way more calories for men – somewhere between 100-300 in an hour!”
Noting that for a woman ‘of average height and weight’ missionary will burn just 40 calories in 15 minutes, Khloe goes on to discuss why reverse cowgirl is her absolute favourite.
“Not only [will it] get the job done , it’ll give your core a hardcore workout!”
