H&M has announced that Sam Taylor-Johnson shot Maison Martin Margiela's upcoming collaboration with the high street brand

Sam Taylor-Johnson has shot the advertising campaign for the hotly anticipated Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M.

The artist and director has joined forces with creative director Markus Kiersztan, shooting a series of short films and still photographs on the streets of Paris for the high street giant.

In the only photo to be released, Taylor-Johnson is seen photographing a model in an oversized jacket, stood inbetween two cars in a Parisian street.

PICS: VERSACE FOR H&M

'Working with such an anarchic house as Martin Margiela alongside a high street brand was a challenge that creatively became a crazy, fun project,' Taylor-Johnson told WWD.

'I wanted to create an atmosphere that was both quiet and still. That each person was in their own emotional and physical thought space. A world away from the heady atmosphere of the usual urban noise,' she added.

Margiela's collaboration with H&M will hit stores on November 15. The full print ads will be revealed in all their glory later this month, while a TV campaign will hit our screens on November 8.
