Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Jonathan Ross and David Walliams will be among the glittering attendees at the week-long Indian ceremony
Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s wedding is thought to be just weeks away, and now the pair have reportedly sent out glossy invitations inviting friends to seven days of glittering celebrations in India.

With a guest list set to read like a who’s who of Hollywood, it’s thought Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Jonathan Ross, David Walliams and Noel Gallagher have all been invited to the midweek celebrations, rumoured to be held at the swanky Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur.
‘Meet you in Delhi in October. Dates to follow. Please allow seven days for this event,’ the invite reportedly reads.
It’s thought the week-long nuptials will be a mix of traditional and Indian themes, with 75-100 guests jetting out for the special ceremony.
‘Expect the most vibrant wedding of the year,’ a friend of the couple told the Mirror. ‘It will be a mix of traditional Hollywood glamour with Katy's hair and dress, plus Indian touches like henna art on her hands and feet, an Indian tiara and hair brooches.
‘It will be at the end of October and will last for seven days. About 75 to 100 guests will be staying at a resort in India and the ceremony is going to be held at an ashram. Katy hired Mindy Weiss to arrange it.’
Although Katy has kept quiet on her bridal designer of choice – and was tipped to pick Galliano for her big day - it’s thought Lebanese seamstress Reem Acra could be creating her glittering bridal gown.
Russell and Katy have already confirmed they won’t be asking for gifts from guests on their big day, and will instead donate money to charity.
‘Katy has got a good job and I’ve got a good job, it seems indulgent to ask for more things, so we’re going to do something more worthwhile and humane with any money that people want to give us,’ he revealed.
