Robert Pattinson has agreed to be interviewed for the first time since Kristen Stewart admitted to having an affair

Robert Pattinson will break his silence and give his first live TV interview since Kristen Stewart admitted cheating on him, next week.

According to Us Weekly, Rob will appear on Good Morning America on August 15 to promote his latest flick, Cosmopolis.

The star is also expected to attend the film's premiere in New York two days earlier, on August 13.

It'll be the first time Pattinson has been seen out in public since the news emerged that his Twilight co-star and girlfriend, Kristen, had been having an affair with the married director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders.

The 26-year-old actor is well known to be fiercely private so it's likely that his publicist will ban all media from asking any personal questions about the Kristen Stewart scandal.

We'll just have to wait and see!
