Robert Pattinson Throws A Great Gatsby-Themed House Party In LA

The actor turned party host to throw the bash for his film director friend, Nick Jarecki – but was Kristen Stewart there?

Robert Pattinson turned party host this weekend as he threw a Great Gatsby-themed bash for his film director friend, Nick Jarecki.

The Twilight heart-throb hosted the 1920s do at his house in the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles for the Armitage director’s 34th birthday.

All the guests went full throttle with the Jazz Age theme and, if reports surfacing today are to be believed, it was the party to be seen at in Hollywood this weekend.

Singer Todd Michael Schultz was in attendance and took to his Twitter account with snippets of gossip from the bash. He tweeted: ‘That was a real freakin party… everywhere you turn… someone super-smart and talented and interesting to talk to. Rob Pattinson is a really cool guy. It’s good not to lose sight of basic kindness.’

But what we all really want to know is whether on/off girlfriend Kristen Stewart bagged an invite. Todd has the answer: ‘Kristen Stewart was not at the party as far as I know…’

Well, that solves that then. K-Stew may have been absent, but the party had a whole host of other famous faces in attendance including actor Warren Beatty, songwriter Diane Warren, Todd’s author boyfriend Bret Easton Ellis, and Fifty Shades of Grey writer E.L. James. The American Psycho author famously declared that he would love to write the screenplay for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, before the job was given to TV screenwriter Kelly Marcel.

Entertainment lawyer Vladimir Radovanov also tweeted about the party: ‘With hot @onditimoner at a partay for @nickjareki at Robbie Pattinson’s. It’s not just her films that rock. A Great Gatsby night w @onditimoner good times!’

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall at this one!
