Robert Pattinson left Australia for LA, while Kristen made her way back from Japan

Robert Pattinson arrived back in LA last night, after kicking off the first leg of his Twilight Breaking Dawn - Part 2 publicity tour in Sydney.

Dressed in Jeans, a baseball cap and dark sunglasses, the Twilight star swept through arrivals at LAX airport, surrounded by a security team.

Rob had been in Australia to promote the final instalment of the vampire franchise, taking part in a photocell at Jones Bay Wharf in the Australian city, before giving a series of interviews.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart travelled to Japan to begin her promotional work, giving an interview on a Japanese chat show, before meeting thousands of screaming fans.

Yesterday, Robert Pattinson arrived home, while Kristen Stewart boarded a flight from Narita airport in Japan.

The couple are expected to reunite in LA on Sunday, and join the rest of the cast for series of interviews,
