Robert Pattinson will play Carey Mulligan's love interest in upcoming flick Hold On To Me
Robert Pattinson was cast opposite Carey Mulligan in hotly tipped new flick Hold On To Me back in October, and we couldn’t have been more excited.
Now new details about the movie have emerged.
According to reports, Robert Pattinson was star as Carey Mulligan’s love interest in the FilmNation flick, described as an ‘electrifying thriller’.
It’s thought the movie will start pre-production this month, with filming set to take place when Rob returns from Australia.
A newly-released synopsis of the film reveals it’s ‘based on the extraordinary true story of a femme fatale who kidnaps and ransoms the town’s richest man’.
Rob will play a ‘a wealthy and successful criminal in Chicago,’ hunted down by ex-girlfriend Nancy (Carey Mulligan), who unsuccessfully tries to win him back.
While the film doesn’t yet have a release date, we expect it arrive in cinemas during late 2014.
Robert Pattinson certainly has a busy year planned. The former Twilight star is currently hard at work filming thrilling new flick the Rover, in Hammond, South Australia.
He also has a third film lined up for 2013: Mission Blacklist, in which he’ll play a solder hunting Saddam Hussain.
