Renee Zellweger has spent the last several months avoiding the spotlight. But now she's back - and looking better than ever.

The 44-year-old actress made her big comeback at a charity event in San Francisco on Monday night. Dressed in a classic LBD and simple peep-toe heels, she looked elegant and sophisticated.

Renee finished off her sleek look with a messy updo and a sweet pearl necklace.

Her last public appearance was back in October of last year - and before that, she was last seen in May.

It's been four years since Renee made her last film, but new reports say she may be rejoining the acting world once again. According the The Hollywood Reporter, she's set to star opposite Daniel Craig in new courtroom drama titled The Whole Truth.

Of course, we're still holding out hope the Renee's next film will be a third Bridget Jones movie, based on Helen Fielding's latest novel, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.

What can we say, we miss our girl Bridge...
