Rebecca Hall receives Bafta rising star nomination

British actress predicted to be a huge star

British actress Rebecca Hall heads up the Bafta nominations for the prestigious Rising Star Award, which is given to the most promising new actor.

Rebecca, who has already starred alongside Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, is among five other young actors who have shown ‘exceptional talent‘ in their, as yet, short careers.

Other nominees include: Michael Cera, who starred in Juno and Superbad, Toby Kebbell, who worked on Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla, Michael Fassbender from Bobby Sands in Hunger and Noel Clarke, who is most famous for Kidulthood and Adulthood.

Previous winners of the award have been kick-ass Bond girl Eva Green, the dashing James McAvoy and Shia LaBeouf, who was dubbed by Hollywood critics as the next Tom Hanks.

The winners will be announced at the glitzy awards ceremony on 8 February.

We can’t wait to see what she’ll wear!
