Reading is believing, folks

The last time we left Rayanne Graff in the 1990s, she'd slept with her best friend's ex-boyfriend in the back of his car just weeks after overdosing on pills and alcohol at her own house party. So, imagine our surprise when we discovered what our favourite My So-Called Life actress is doing now...

Yes, you guessed it: Following the death of her father-in-law earlier this month, she's now the Countess of Devon. And, no, we're not kidding.

Gone are the days when our favourite wild child rocked up late to class in a nightgown, ripped tights and an oversized lumberjack shirt (more's the pity)...Or dragged our confused heroine Angela Chase to a nightclub on a school night only to get arrested by the cops...Or how about the time she burst into an a capella rendition of Sesame Street in the cinema queue? (Oh, Rayanne, we miss you).

The Telegraph reports that My So-Called Life actress, Allison Joy Langer, became a member of the British nobility ten years ago after marrying the son and heir of the Earl of Devon after a chance-meeting in Las Vegas. Not only that, they've now inherited an actual castle. That's a real-life fairy tale even Rayanne Graff couldn't have predicted.

Powderham Castle, near Exeter, is now home to Allison and her husband, Charles Courtenay and their two children. It's certainly a long way from Liberty High School, that's for sure. And Jordan Catalano.

Oh Jordan. May we never forget the wonder that is Jared Leto in a Sherpa jacket.

Yup, still crushing...
