A rare video of Angelina Jolie, aged 25, has been discovered.
It’s been a bit of a week for vintage Angelina Jolie news this week. First we saw her posing nude at just 20-years-old and now this amazing video has been unearthed of the actress in an acting class at around the same time.
The two-minute long clip surfaced on Youtube and shows an emotional Angelina crying as she shouts at her fellow actress. At the time that the video was taken Ange was just 25 and was about to win big at the Academy Awards for her part in Girl, Interrupted
Girl, Interrupted. In it she played Lisa, a girl living in a sanitarium who is disagnosed as a sociopath.
Angelina has previously said of the role: “I really, genuinely thought I was the only character who was sane in the entire film... And if you watch it closely, that’s exactly how I was playing it: I am just the only sane person, here.”
She continued: “I was actually almost upset when people said I was so good at playing insane because I never thought she was insane. She was just incredibly honest, which, I guess, made her seem crazy.”
Nowadays Angelina has taken a step behind the camera, turning her hand to directing. Her film Unbroken was a historical war sports-drama which she both produced and directed.
Indeed, she has since admitted that she prefers directing to acting saying: “I prefer directing to acting. There is huge freedom that comes from being behind the camera. It brings a lot of responsibilities as well, but is intensely rewarding.”
