It feels like only yesterday that little Prince Louis was born at the end of April – we've already had more big royal baby news since his birth – but his christening is finally here.

The service is taking place this afternoon in London, at The Chapel Royal in St James' Palace.

Isn't he adorable?

Of course, this is the first time we've seen little Louis since his arrival, as he wasn't present at the royal wedding for this reason.

It's the same venue where Prince George was christened, while Princess Charlotte's took place at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen's Sandringham estate, Norfolk.

However, there's one major difference between Prince Louis' christening and those of his two older siblings.

Both George and Charlotte were christened in the morning, however the newest royal's wasn't until four o'clock in the afternoon.

A statement from Kensington palace last month said: 'The service will begin at 1600 hours and will last approximately 40 minutes.'

We can't wait to see more of Prince Louis as he grows up!
