She's not known for her love of tattoos, so we could hardly believe our eyes when snaps of Jessica Alba's huge new inking landed in our inbox earlier today.
But it seems the starlet hasn't done something so out of character after all - as her new tattoo is only temporary.

It's thought Jess has one or two delicate tattoos, but nothing as dramatic as her latest inking - which is reportedly all in aid of a role.
According to insiders, the actress is sporting the temporary inking - a sprawling rose snaking up the top half of Jess's left arm - for new movie A.C.O.D.
'A local tattoo artist in Atlanta did it on her,' a source told Us magazine. 'Jessica thinks it's pretty tough.'
The starlet's been hard at work on the new movie - also starring Glee girl Jane Lynch, Adam Scott and Mary Elizabeth Winstead - in Atlanta of late.
But yesterday Jess managed to fit in some downtime in LA with hubby Cash Warren, and adorable daughter's Honor Marie and Haven.
Just how cute?!
