Nadine said the girls are set to reunite for their 10 year anniversary in 2012

Time to get excited, Girls Aloud fans - Nadine Coyle has confirmed that the band WILL reunite to mark their 10 year anniversary in 2012.

Speaking to radio host Dean Kelly, Nadine stated that a reunion was definitely on the cards. 'We always discuss doing a ten-year reunion thing. So that's going to be next year.

'We're definitely going to do something. But it's a whole huge production. Girls Aloud is not just us five, there's, like, us five plus a ridiculous team of 50 who travel with us, it's amazing.'

And it's not just Nadine revealing the girls' plans. Their manager Hilary Shaw also confirmed a 2012 reunion: 'Everybody wants them to make a comeback and it will be next year. Well, it is their tenth anniversary so there will be something.'

Silencing rumours of a rift, Shaw added that the band are in talks on getting on 'great': 'They speak all the time, and that includes Cheryl and Nadine with the other girls. Cheryl is keen to get back with the girls and is planning something which could be a one-off or some gigs.'
