The model mum took her smiley baby boy home to Australia for the very first time

It takes a lot to upstage supermodel Miranda Kerr, but little Flynn Bloom may just have done it, as the beaming little boy arrived in his mother's arms to visit her home country for the very first time.

The new mum hasn't returned to Australia since giving birth to her first child six months ago, but was back with her boy yesterday, arriving following a 15 hour flight from LA into her hometown, Sydney.

But there were no signs of jet lag from the photogenic family, who were all smiles as they faced the waiting cameras.

Miranda arrived without hubbie Orlando Bloom, who is expected to jet in to join his wife and son this weekend.

Not just in town to catch up with her family, Miranda has been hard at work in her role as ambassador for Aussie brand David Jones, launching its new season collection. She'll also promote her new book, Treasuring Yourself, as it hits Australian stores.
